- Erik Roscam Abbing (Seattle, 1969) is the founder of Zilver brand driven innovation in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Zilver is a design management consultancy operating at the crossroads of branding, innovation and design. Roscam Abbing holds a master in Industrial Design Engineering from the Technological University of Delft (1995, cum laude) and in Design Management from Inholland/Nijenrode (2005, cum laude).
Roscam Abbing consults on strategic branding, design management and innovation issues for multinationals as well as SME’s and start-ups. He is a frequent lecturer, blogger and writer on the methodology and vision he baptized brand driven innovation. He is a part time teacher at the Department of Industrial Design at the Technological University of Delft where he develops and teaches the master classes Brand & Product Strategy and Design Strategy and mentors graduation projects that deal with branding and product design. Next to that he is a guest teacher in the Eurib Master of Brand Management program and module coordinator of the Eurib Master of Design Management program.
