Education - DeMontford University, Leicester.
BA(Hons) in Audio Visual Design
MA in Information Design

MA research became the corner stone of a major empathetic marketing campaign for the main UK Charity - The British Dyslexia Association.

21 years as a freelance design consultant working with SME's within a wide range of market sectors, specialising in the development of clear information design in all forms of business communications.

1992 - 2000 appointed a Senior Lecturer at UCE, Birmingham, as a professional practitioner - bringing the ethos of professional practice to BA degree courses in Visual Communications.

2000 - 2006 Followed my own lead, coining the term, "practice what I preach" left education to help set up a new Gift ware business venture, totally different from anything else I had done previously - and coming to think about it was a total Blue Ocean opportunity that achieved amazing results until the product life cycle ran out!.

2006/07 I was invited through networking to lecturer again, this time on a MA Design Management course at Staffordshire University, where I had my epiphany and saw the light of DM!

Jan 2008 - consultant on the development of a BA(Hons) course in Design Management at Newcastle College.
